Fun at the Park

I was looking for places to take spring pictures (for clients) so I took the family to one of my favorite spots, Washington Irving Park in Bixby. We took our fall pictures there and I wanted to see how it looked in the spring. Still beautiful!! So many trees and it was so green. The girls and us played hide and seek and ran around. It was fun to take pictures of them just playing and having fun.

 

 





Easter with the Liesers

 

For Easter the Lieser Family got together for a fun Easter Egg hunt. This was a dream come true for Claire...that girl loves her some candy. Good times with family. 

Zoo Time

We went to the zoo with Cassie and Grace over spring break. Words of wisdom...don't go to the zoo during spring break!!! Holy moly, it took forever to get into Mohawk Park and then we had to park far away from the entrance (not even in the parking lot) and then wait in line for about 30 minutes. Craziness!! It actually was not bad once inside the zoo and the girls had so much fun with their cousin. Worth the wait.

Happy Birthday, Jesus!

It gets harder and harder to try and get our extended families together for the holidays. So this year was a little different. We got together with Jared's family the weekend before Christmas and with my family the weekend after. So that left Christmas day for just the four of us. Jared and I have never had Christmas day to ourselves....ever. We have always been at one of our parents house or traveling on the day. So I was so excited and was looking forward to making a big meal and just relaxing with my family. It was so fun. We woke up and opened gifts, Jared read the Christmas story, had breakfast, and then the girls and I started in on making Jesus' birthday cake. That was too much fun! I then started on dinner...we had ham, broccoli rice casserole, mashed potatoes, rolls, marshmallow salad, and birthday cake. It was delicious and I felt very Susie homemaker! So thankful for Jesus and for his sacrifice. It was such a blessing to celebrate Him with my family. Happy Birthday, Jesus!

 

Our birthday party for Jesus was awesome. The girls picked out what type of cake. Claire was convinced that Jesus would love chocolate cake with chocolate icing and of course, sprinkles. And she would be right!!

Rhema Lights

We try to take the girls to see the lights at Rhema every year. This year was the best by far...it was in the 70's!! I wasn't freezing my buns off and wishing I had brought cash with me to buy hot chocolate. We walked a little longer and enjoyed it a little more. Thank the Lord for nice weather.

 



Whoooo's having a Happy Birthday?

Claire and Quinn both share their birthdays with a cousin. Crazy how that happened. Anywho...Claire shares her birthday with Maddox (November 24th). Their cousin Grace's birthday is November 21st. So during our Thanksgiving with family we had a super party for all three girls. Since Maddox was the one with the most significant birthday (she was turning 1) then Autumn got to pick the theme for the party. I bet you can't guess. Ok fine, it was owls. So cute! Claire turned 4, Grace turned 3, and Maddox turned 1. How fun is it going to be watching these girls grow up and getting to celebrate their life every Thanksgiving. I am truly thankful for all 3 of them. Love them!

Pinterest Project

I saw on Pinterest where you color on plates with Sharpies and then bake them in the oven. The baking helps keep the color on them. So we all made our very own plate. Jared too! I assumed we could eat off them. I am now realizing that is not the case. The marker comes off when you wash it. We never ate off them because I was worried the color would come off when wet. It only came off when scrubbed on. Anyway, I guess they are meant to be made and then put up as decoration. I do not have anywhere to put them so at some point they will secretly make it out of the house. Thankfully they were only $1 plates from Dollar Tree. It had potential of being really neat. Oh well.
