Wrap up

The Joy of Love is officially over. I am sad that it is, I have had so much fun taking pictures of the girls. I am sure the girls will be glad to at least have a few days off without the camera in their face. :) I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.

Claire LOVES to talk on the phone. She is on the phone everyday. She likes to talk about mommy, daddy, and Ken. (That is how she says Quinn now)

Day 26- their friends

Quinn really does not have a choice at this point but she gets along really well with Claire's friends' little brothers. These are her friends Mathew and Jaycen.

If you ask Claire who her friends are she will say Kaitlyn and Alex. (along with Rylee and Ella) She asks to play with them a lot...thankfully they go to church together and see each other a couple of times a week. I love to see her with her friends...it is sooo cute!

I met two of the most precious people in my life for the first time in the delivery room of St. John's hospital in Tulsa, OK. I will always remember those two very special days! It's hard to believe they are no longer newborns and that they are growing up so fast. It seems like yesterday that I was looking at them for the first time. They truly give me so much joy and I am so blessed to be their mommy.

I have plenty of cute photos of the girls that I have put on facebook, but as I was looking through them I ran across these. It has been a long time since I have seen them and I literally laughed out loud looking at them. They were taken before children in January of 2008. (We look so young and so silly!!!) I had to put them on here, he is a part of my joy of love too! (Hopefully that last statement will keep Jared from killing me for putting these on here.) :)

The energy would be...FUN!! The girls pulled Lego's out as soon as we got home. Therefore proving my point that it didn't take long to no longer see the floor.

I would say the overall feeling would be clean and picked up. I rarely am home without the girls but this weekend we left Jared home alone and went to my parents. When we arrived back the living room (and rest of the house) was clean. I was shocked you could actually see the floor! It is obvious we have children by the toys lining the fireplace but at least they were not in the middle of the room when we got home...it lasted all of about a minute before things were back to normal.

Fun at the park!

Last week it was -12 degrees and this week it has gotten up into the upper 70's!!! I wish it would last but I have to remind myself it is still the middle of February. The nicer weather could not have come at a better time after being stuck inside because of the blizzard. Today we took advantage and met our friends at the park. It was a little windy, to be expected in Oklahoma, but it was nice. The kids had such a good time. Claire loves the slide! Her and Alex went down it over, and over, and over, and.... Jaycen and Quinn had fun crawling in the rocks and also trying to eat them. They kept Desiree and I busy just keeping rocks out of their mouths. It was so wonderful to be out in fresh air and for the girls to work off some energy. They both went down for naps without a peep. Awwwwwwww!!!!!! Thanks for the fun....we are looking forward to doing it again!
