Even Princess Fairies ride bikes and play outside.

Fairy Princesses
The girls wanted to make fairy wings and dress up like princesses so that is just what we did. They colored and glittered their wings yesterday and then we finished them today. Since it was a beautiful day we went outside to play. We spent most of the morning outside soaking in the sunshine and getting some fresh air. I love spring! I took a ton of pictures and had a hard time editing down.

Happy Birthday Quinn!

It's hard to believe that Quinn is 2! We started her birthday day off with a well check visit to the doctor. I was afraid she would be getting shots on her birthday but luckily she didn't need them this time. The doctor was impressed with how much she talked and behaved and how polite the girls were. I was very proud. She weighs 25 lbs 10 oz (37%) and is 35 3/4" tall. (92%) She is healthy and happy and that makes me very happy and thankful.
We had Quinn's birthday party on Friday night with just the 4 of us. It started out with going to Mazzio's for pizza (Quinn's choice for her birthday dinner), presents and then Cinderella cake. She got a pink Little Tykes basketball goal, a princess tent, a blanket that matches her bed set, and the Tangled movie. We played basketball for a while then had movie night. It was a wonderful day and I am so blessed to have her in my life. Let the terrific two's begin!

I love that her tongue is hanging out.

Vroom Vroom

Quinn shared Claire's tricycle all last summer. She got her very own for her birthday from Grandma and Papa. We had to ride it the next day after getting home from Enid, thankfully it was nice out. I think we may have had to let her ride it rain or shine. She couldn't wait to get on it! Thank you to Grandma and Papa!! It was a big hit and she asks to go outside everyday since getting it. This summer is going to be so fun with both the girls on their own bikes.

Quinn's early birthday celebrations.

We had the best time last week getting together with both sides of family to celebrate Quinn's birthday early. We went to Jared's parents and celebrated with grammie with birthday cookies, per Quinn's request. They had to have sprinkles! We then went to my side of the family and had "pupcakes" with the cousins and grandma and papa. She only licked the icing off the cupcakes. I don't even think she ate a bite of the cake part. That's my girl!! We are now looking forward to Quinn's party with just the 4 of us. Pizza, Cindarella cake, and movie night. Can't wait!

MMMMMM "Pupcakes"!

The big 3-0!

Jared turned 30 on the 27th of February. It's nice to finally have him join me in the thirties! The girls were so excited to buy him a gift so I let them pick it out. Claire got him a small Chuggington toy train and Quinn picked out a Matchbox car. They were so excited about it they told him that night that his present was a car and a train before he even opened them. Jared was more than happy to play with them, especially since it was playing with cars and trains. I had been asking the girls why they love daddy and what he does to show him he loves them a couple of days before his birthday. I collected 30 of the things they said and typed them up for Jared and put them in a cute little jar. Some things were so sweet and some were funny and some made no sense at all. Here are a couple of things they said:
He let's us help him make his lunch.
I love daddy all the time.
 You play rocket with us.
Reads my book.
When we all go to church to our classes I miss him.
He gives me a hug when he goes to work.
When you love me with my back pack.
Gives us chocolate.
Daddy is silly.
Love you for a celebration.
Horse and donkey. (This was Quinn talking about a Dora show)

He also got a basket filled with candy that was popular 30 years ago. That has been fun to enjoy with him. The best part was eating his ice cream cake that he asks for every year. The girls don't think it's a party unless there is cake. It was a good day!
I am so glad he has finally turned 30, it really helps me to not feel so old.

It melted and shifted on the way home.
