For the 4th we went to the Jenks Riverwalk fireworks show. It was Quinn's first one and probably the first one Claire even remembers. There were a lot of oohs and aahs and girly squeals. They covered their ears because it was loud. They weren't as interested as I thought they would be and had just as much fun running around in the grass where we sat. We parked in a bad spot and it took us about an hour to go 3 or 4 miles to get home. Maybe next year we will do little stuff at home...Jared will love it.
Hahaha.... what is it with men and getting home after a fireworks show? LOL!! We have never made it to any of the fireworks shows here except for once before we lived in Tulsa, we went to one of the river parks where people were setting them off all around us and it scared me to death... no protocol, so dangerous! I like watching them from my porch. So pretty!
